Restoring STATE OF IDAHO DEQ TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Providing Statewide Environmental Assessment Support

Alta has completed more than 100 projects for the State of Idaho. Alta has supported IDEQ and community stakeholders with every element of the assessment process. This experience covers a wide variety of environmental challenges. Projects range from converting old schools with asbestos and lead paint into affordable housing to turning a mine ghost town into a State park.
Alta performed Phase I and II ESAs in Boise, including what would become TRICA Dance Studio, Adare Manor, and other similar assessments. In addition, we characterized sites with a wide range of COCs, developed remedial alternatives, and implemented cleanup, monitoring, and site closure activities.

Alta staff have co-presented with IDEQ at local, regional, and national workshops and conferences showcasing the success and creative approaches to assessment throughout the state. The duration and fact that we are on our 4th contract renewal speak to the quality of our work and results achieved over the years. Alta will use that experience to apply creative and efficient solutions to your projects.
